One point is one standard-deviation move

Every card scores p = r ÷ (σ × √days). r is the card's return over the window on its own feed. σ is its 7D daily volatility, snapshotted at the open. days is the window length in days for crypto, and the number of NYSE sessions inside the window for stocks.

Deck score is the mean of the five cards' points. A stock card with no session in the window scores 0.

Why: crypto trades 24/7 and moves more; a stock trades 32.5 hours a week and moves less. Dividing by each card's own σ means a 2% move on a 1%-vol stock scores the same as a 6% move on a 3%-vol coin. Crypto cannot win a deck by being louder.

The raw return still shows everywhere and stays the share-card headline. Ties are equal scores to four decimals; the MVP is the deck's highest-points card.

Roster and formats

1H top of the hour to the next, 24/7 — crypto only, any five cards. The arcade mode.

SESSION 09:30–16:00 ET on NYSE days; every card scores that exact span. DAY 00:00–24:00 UTC. WEEK Monday 09:30 ET to Friday 16:00 ET, the league format.

The three mixed formats need a roster: at least two stock cards and at least two crypto cards — 2 stocks · 2 crypto · 1 flex.

Stock cards score only on in-session ticks. A window that opens while the market is closed snapshots the stock at the first tick of its next session; outside the session it closes at its last session close inside the window.

Lock and snapshot

Pick five distinct cards and lock them. The deck lands in the next scheduled window of that format.

Until the window opens you can change it. At the open the engine snapshots every card's price and the deck is immutable from then on.

Miss the open and the lock rolls to the following window. Other decks are hidden until the window opens; yours is always visible to you.

Leaderboard points

Every settled window pays placement points: weight × 100 × (entrants − rank + 1) ÷ entrants. First of four in a WEEK window is 1000; last of four is 250.

Weights: 1H 1 · SESSION 2 · DAY 3 · WEEK 10.

Points are always positive and accumulate for the season. Points inside a window decide rank; placement points decide the season.

No wallet. Your session is your identity — visit once and you have a handle, editable on your profile.

Battles and Elo

A battle is 1v1, deck against deck, over one window. Open a challenge on a window you hold a deck in; anyone with a deck in that window can seat. Higher deck score wins; equal scores draw.

Free battles are for the record. Rating is Elo with K = 32 and a floor of 600. Elo will multiply rewards once rewards exist.

Pro — coming with the escrow, not live: stakes in SOL, USDC or $DECK, winner takes the pot less a 3% rake, or 1% when both stake $DECK, with the $DECK rake burned.

Prices and badges

Crypto: Coinbase Exchange ticker, sampled every minute; sessions are UTC days. Stocks: Yahoo Finance quotes, one call a minute for every stock card; sessions are NYSE regular sessions; ATH is from the equity's full daily history. Charts are TradingView, for reference only.

Every number on a card face is derived from the scoring feed — 7D, session, streak, σ, volatility, momentum, rank, held-by. Nothing is synthetic.

Badges are earned by holding a card in a locked deck through the event: Crash when it falls 15% or more inside the window, ATH when it closes the window at a new high, Genesis when it is held within seven days of listing.
